Hello, my name is Claire, and I have recently taken over organising the Guildford Young Ringers group. I ring at St Michael’s in Aldershot, but can also be occasionally spotted at Farnborough, Farnham or Eversley!
My main aspiration for the Young Ringers is to inspire and boost the confidence of the Guild’s youth. I want the group to support our young ringers in whichever direction they want to take their ringing, be it conducting, running practises, or ringing perfectly struck changes or methods! To me, the aim of the Young Ringers group is to send all members out with the confidence to find ringing opportunities wherever they may go in future.
I would like to thank everyone who has offered support for the group up to now and going forward, and would like to encourage any young ringers/anyone who knows any young ringers who are not currently part of the group to get in touch and come to a practise to see what we get up to!
