Many congratulations to all the ringers who took part in the 8-bell striking contest at Esher today. It was really good to have a band from each of the four Districts taking part.

The contest was judged by Paul Flavell and So-Shan Au from Kingston upon Thames, with the bands placed as follows:

1st Guildford District scoring 82%
2nd Farnham District scoring 80%
3rd Leatherhead District scoring 77%
4th Chertsey District scoring 73%
