Credits

We would like to thank all those who have contributed ideas, information, photographs, illustrations and a host of other material to the creation of this web-site.

It is impossible to acknowledge everyone who has helped, but particular thanks must go to Nick Haggett who produced the original Guild web-site, on which this one is based, Julian Morgan, who provided many of the tower photographs, Sally Gorton, who made the tower drawings on the home page, and members of the web-site working group who oversaw the development of this site, Mike Bale, Jacqueline Brown (created current site), Stuart Flockton, Roger Tompsett and James White.

All the Guild Officers made significant contributions, including Anne Anthony, Judy Couperthwaite, Chris Rogers, Stephen Darvill and Martin Turner, and we would like to thank members of the Executive Committee for their help and advice during this project.

We would also like to acknowledge the contribution made by District Secretaries for the tower and event information they have provided.

Bell recordings

We have started a project to obtain recordings of the bells at all the Guild towers. Ashtead, Dorking, Epsom, Leatherhead and Ranmore are now available, and we will extend this as time permits. We are particularly keen to obtain recordings before refurbishment work is undertaken and would be grateful if we could be told of any imminent projects. The uploaded recordings are in mp3 form, but all are recorded at CD quality. Please enquire if you need a better quality recording. Recordings are copyright: please apply to the web administrator if you wish to make any commercial use of them.
