35 of our District members (about 20% of our membership) took part in this year’s Quarter Peal weekend from 20th to 22nd October, together with 10 very welcome guests from neighbouring Districts and Associations. The 45 ringers – with 9 different conductors – scored 12 successful quarters from Plain Bob Minor to Cambridge Max, and some notable firsts, including the first Nottingham 8-spliced by a resident District band.
