The Organising Committee is delighted to announce the new arrangements for the Open Towers Day as follows. A total of up to 27 towers will be open, each for one hour from the time shown. Admission will be £2 per tower or £20 for a day ticket which will be available at the first few towers. We can only accept cash. There will no formal lunch arrangements, but the itinerary passes many shops and pubs where refreshments can be obtained. Most of the churches also have toilet facilities available.
You can download a copy of the Itinerary, Post Codes and Parking here.
Please note that the correct postcode for Merrow is GU4 7AA
Health and Safety Matters
This is a priority of the Guild and the Organising Committee. All visitors to the Open Towers Day are requested to note the following measures:
- Ringers are asked to refrain from attending if they are unwell or have any Covid or flu-like symptoms;
- At Leatherhead tower visitors are required to wear a mask and to sign the attendance register; similar requirements may apply at other towers as advised by stewards;
- Please adhere to the Guild’s Safeguarding procedures as set out elsewhere on this website;
- There will be stewards on duty at each tower. Visitors are required to follow any directions they may give.
We hope these requirements will not spoil your visit and wish you an enjoyable day out.
