I have sent out a doodle to my band with 5 evenings available next and the following week to get the more worried ringers just pulling off and ringing – quietly and calmly for as long as they want to – up to 45 mins. It became apparent to me that ringing up and down before and afterwards when they hadn’t rung for a long time was stopping them putting names down for Sundays – we also will keep the bells up now to facilitate this. Flexibility is the name of the game.

So far, 5 ringers have signed up for this.
