The Essex Trophy competition took place at a sunny Epsom St Martin on Saturday. Six bands representing territorial associations across the South East took part, and the test piece was a challenging touch of Spliced Plain and Little Bob Royal.
The competition was extremely close with only 12% separating all the teams! The Judges were Stephanie Pattenden and Cathy Hampson, and they gave the results as follows:

1st Essex Association 80%
2nd Guildford Diocesan Guild 77%
3rd Winchester and Portsmouth 74%
4th Surrey Association 72%
5th Kent County Association 71%
6th Sussex County Association 68%
