6 bands entered today’s District 6 Bell Striking Competition at Bramley.

The results were as follows:

Open class:

1st Shalford (Plain Bob Doubles)
2nd Godalming (Grandsire Doubles)
3rd Shalford (Call Changes)
4th Holy Trinity Guildford (Call changes)

Rounds Class

1st Holy Trinity Guildford
2nd Shere

Many thanks to our judge Oliver Hall from Frensham, and to the Bramley ringers, who provided excellent tea, coffee and cakes, which raised over £50 for Bramley Helping Hands.

Congratulations to Holy Trinity, the winners of the inaugural Rounds Class, and particularly to Shalford, who won both the call change class and the overall competition.

Shalford and runners-up Godalming will now go forward to represent our District in the Guild 6 Bell competition next year.
