The annual 8-bell striking competition this year was held at Frensham on Saturday 18th April. One team representing each district took part. The test piece was 336 changes of Grandsire Triples, and the judges were Paul & Kate Flavell from Kingston, Surrey. They commented how good all of the ringing was, and the scores were all close. The results were:
1st Guildford District 88%
2nd Farnham District 86%
Joint 3rd Leatherhead District 82%
Joint 3rd Chertsey District 82%
Congratulations to the Guildford District for wining this year.
